Jodie Kennedy began practicing Iyengar yoga in 1988 in Adelaide, South Australia, under the guidance of Vanessa Shribmann of Coast Yoga. She completed two years of Iyengar teacher training in 2000 and 2001 in Colorado with Nancy Stechert and Leslie Bradley of Colorado School of Iyengar Yoga.

Jodie completed two years full time of Massage Therapy training at Colorado Institute of Massage Therapy in Denver, Colorado. This included Anatomy & Physiology, Trigger Point, Swedish, and a year of Myofascial Therapy and Postural Alignment. She has run a Massage Therapy practice in Denver, Colorado, Forster, NSW and Port Macquarie, NSW, and worked with Chiropractors and Osteopaths for five years in Colorado.

Jodie completed the one year IYTA Yoga Teacher Training program in 2017 in Australia. She has studied under the guidance of Alan Goode, Eve Gryzbowski and Donna Farhi.

Jodie combines her 30 years of Yoga practice and 15 years of Massage Therapy to offer classes here in Port Macquarie on the beautiful NSW Coast in a small, private studio (max 8 people). She believes that yoga is beneficial for every BODY, all ages, at all stages of life. There is always a practice to nourish the soul, regardless of what life serves up.
